Black History Month

This resource aids college tutorials for Black History Month, themed "Standing Firm in Power and Pride." It includes icebreakers, profiles of Black British leaders, discussions on their legacies, and reflections to boost awareness of Black history and equality.

Human Rights Day

This Human Rights Day tutorial helps students explore the theme “Our Everyday Essentials”, the basic rights that shape daily life. Through scenarios and discussion, learners will consider how human rights appear in college, the UK, and the world today, and why protecting these everyday essentials matters for young people.

International Women's Day

This International Women’s Day tutorial resource supports students in understanding the purpose and importance of 8th March while celebrating the achievements of women both globally and within their own communities. The session encourages thoughtful discussion and personal reflection, helping students understand how respect, representation, and opportunity contribute to a more inclusive society.

UK Parliament Week

A resource pack for UK Parliament Week (November 24-30, 2025) featuring interactive icebreakers, debate activities on democracy and civic issues, learning about Parliament's role, and reflection prompts for students.

Safer Internet

This Safer Internet Day tutorial resource helps students make smart, safe online choices. Linked to the 2026 theme “Smart tech, safe choices: Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI”, it uses real-life scenarios and discussion to encourage critical thinking about online risks and digital behaviour.

World Book Day & World Book Night

This toolkit offers flexible, age-appropriate activities for FE colleges and sixth forms to celebrate World Book Day and/or World Book Night. Designed as an adaptable set of ideas rather than a fixed plan, it enables staff to select options that align with their specific capacity and strategic goals.
